Eko has 17 years of experience investing in emerging markets. She was the youngest person to make Partner at Generation Investment Management where she spent 11 years until the end of 2021. While with Generation she was also a Trustee of the Generation Foundation. Prior to Generation she was an analyst at Morgan Stanley Hong Kong, and subsequently at Capital Group. She received a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Hong Kong and a degree in Precision Instrument and Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University. She is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Japanese.
